I strive to meet your child's physical, intellectual, social, and emotional needs. I feel children learn best in a creative,
natural learning enviroment. Your child will learn everyday by being a part of our extended family.
I have 15+ years experience in childcare. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education. I have over 300 hours in continuing
education through attending seminars and childcare conferences. I worked in center-based care as a lead teacher for
four years prior to opening my own home day care in 1989. I have two children of my own (ages 8 and 15). I am a member of
the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the president of Lake County Home Day Care Network,
and a past mentor for the YWCA Family Childcare Provider Program.
I will use my knowledge to offer stimulating, developmental activities when your child is ready for them. This includes
music, sensory activities (fingerpainting, playdough, sand and water play, etc), arts and crafts, pre-math and pre-reading
skills, dramatic play (dress-up, dolls, kitchen, etc) field trips, and lots of TLC.
I accept full and part-time clients at a resonable price. I am conviently located near the center of Libertyville,
Illinois near the intersection of Milwaukee Av (route 21) and Park Av (route 176). Please contact me if you are interested
in learning more about my home day care program.
